Having developed their practices as women on the internet, Vex and Ozziline climb into one another’s screens. Feminine bodies exploring the macho as both subject and photographer — oiled up and sweating in front and behind of the camera.

VEX ASHLEY is a porn performer, director and film maker. After rejecting being demoted to "muse" at art school and getting naked online as a cam girl, Vex started making work as Four Chambers to expand the idea of what sex on film could say, do and be.

Vex performs in, directs, edits and produces the Four Chambers project. Making films using porn as the medium and the art form exploring sex as performance, authenticity, art and pornography, technology and sex camming and censorship, with recent shows at the ICA and the Barbican.

OZZILINE is an interdisciplinary artist working with text, performance and digital image.

She works with her body as a primary investigative tool: transforming desire and lived experiences from within the sex industry into a research database that informs her practice.

Particularly interested in the intersection of erotic labour, fetish and pop + internet culture, her writing style combines fantasy narrative with gender theory, through a psychoanalytical & philosophical lens. She has previously performed at the Barbican Centre, Bishopsgate Institute, and Schinkel Pavillion, Berlin.
