About Temptress

• Who is Temptress?

Temptress (*Грішниця) is a printed art magazine founded in 2021 by Ukrainian artist Julie Poly that focuses on eroticism and its representation in the modern world. Inspired by the visual language of early 2000s pop culture magazines, the publication is an independent, feminist, and queer-aligned semi-annual almanach that explores the politics of desire, intimacy, and identity through a visually bold and intellectually grounded lens. The magazine has developed a strong community both locally and internationally, with distribution in Ukraine and worldwide.

• Who is behind Temptress?

The magazine was founded in 2021 by Ukrainian artist and photographer Julie Poly. It’s created together with a team of contributors - artists, writers, designers from Ukraine and worldwide.

• How often is a new issue released?

Temptress is published twice a year. Each issue is built around a central topic.

Buying & Shipping

• Where can I buy the magazine?

You can purchase all available issues directly on this website via the Store page.

• Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery times depend on your location and are calculated at checkout. 

• Is Temptress available digitally?

For now, the latest issue of Temptress is available only in print. We believe in the power of physical storytelling. But you can find the digital versions of our past issues in the Store page.

• Can I edit or cancel my order, or change my shipping address?
